Steer New Product Features Monthly Roundup - September 2020
Updated: Oct 27, 2020

At Steer, our customers are our priority. With that in mind, we are committed to finding ways to improve and innovate the Steer No-Code Development Platform to suit your needs today, so you can continue to thrive towards the future.
Here’s how Steer improved this month:
UPDATES TO EXISTING FEATURES
Assigning Users as Actors. We have improved the process configuration feature of the platform. Previously, the Process Designer is where you assign the Actors for every action in the workflow. With the new update, you will now be able to do this in the Access Settings. This update enables the creator to focus better on setting the process using designer and proceed to assigning actors in the succeeding step.

SLA Timer. You may now set a timer on your ticket board. Timers notify you when a certain ticket is overdue. This also allows you to track and prioritize urgent tasks based on the set SLA. Just simply define the length of your timer and set when it applies.

Invite new users. You may now add unregistered users to a workflow on Steer. Previously, editors may only add users using the User Management settings given that they already have an activated Steer account. With the new update, you may now invite new users from the User Access Settings. Just simply type in his/her name and email address a sign up invitation will be sent to the added colleague.

Create group workflow. Creating groups may now be done in the User Access Settings as well. Prior to the update, group creation is done separately in the Group Management settings. With this development, you may now create new groups with new sets of members as you finish configuring your workflows.

Bulk editing of access settings. You need not set user access settings individually anymore. With this update, you may now edit access for up to 20 individuals in bulk and apply changes to all selected users.
