How the Solution Works

1. The contractor submits a ticket

Steer makes it easy for contractors to submit and track requests for approval. This is to ask permission to use a critical material, part, or process for work to be done.

From the drawing/plan or directly via the RFA solution tab, the contractor fills out the form and specifies the subject of their request, the specializations involved, and the details of the method statement, drawing, or any process they need approval for.

2. The Project Manager reviews the RFA

The Project Manager reviews the ticket submitted and assigns it to the consultant that can best address the questions from the contractor

3. The Consultant/Designer addresses the inquiry

The consultant/designer receives the ticket and responds to the request. They may expound on their answers in the ‘Response’ field and add documents.

This will be routed to the Project Manager for review to ensure that all questions are answered.
