This policy explains how Steer Platform Pte. Ltd. (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with Steer Workforce. We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).
1. Roles
We act as a controller for the personal information we collect from you (the customer) for our own purposes (e.g., account administration, billing, support). We act as a processor for the personal information you upload about your employees, contractors, and other workers in the course of using the Service.
2. Information we collect
As a controller: name, email, company, role, payment information, support communications, usage analytics.
As a processor (on your behalf): worker records, contracts, payroll data, statutory contributions, leave records, audit trail. Data scope is determined by your configuration and use.
3. How we use information
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service
- To process payments and respond to support requests
- To send service-related communications
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations
- For aggregate, anonymized analytics
We do not sell your data. We do not use customer data to train AI models.
4. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Sub-processors listed in our DPA
- Authorities, where legally required
- Successors in the event of a merger or acquisition (subject to this policy)
5. Cross-border transfers
PH customer data is hosted on PH infrastructure. Other personal information may be processed in Singapore, the EU, or the US (where our sub-processors operate). All transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for the duration of the customer relationship plus the period required by law (BIR records: 10 years). You may request earlier deletion subject to legal obligations.
7. Your rights
You have rights of access, correction, withdrawal of consent, and deletion under PDPA and RA 10173. To exercise them, email privacy@steerplatform.com.

10. Changes to this policy
